This
is Joel and Kathryn Darker, owners of Quality Carpet Cleaning. We are
a family owned business in the Western NY area serving Genesee,Orleans
and surrounding counties (see service area).
We began Quality Carpet Cleaning as a owner operated company in the
spring of 2004 and continue to build more trust in our name throughout
the area.
Back in 1990, Joel started installing carpet for a friend as a helper.
Once he learned the trade he started his own business and became certified
in carpet installation as well as added vinyl floor installation and
laminate installation to the business. Since he always enjoyed cleaning
(even sweeping as a youngster) Joel added carpet cleaning to the business.
Joel continues to do some installation but mainly focuses on cleaning
along with specialized installations like berber pattern matches, seam
repair, burn repairs and carpet wrinkle removal.
Joel then became certified in carpet cleaning as well as tile and grout
cleaning and sealing. He continues to research and read about advancements
in cleaning technology and also techniques as well as attending seminars
and trade shows.
As the business increased, Joel's wife of 14 years began to assist with
the business. She has previous cleaning experience and is a real asset
to the company. Kathryn is a big help in increasing efficiency in cleaning
clients homes and customer relations.
